Day 4

Today was not a day to let your attention slip.  Initially we encountered 'green' slippery roads under the tree canopy in the low clouds.  We then spent the rest of the morning flitting in and out of the cloud (but the top).  The views above the clouds were spectacular.
Some of the descents were what Belach Na Bar wants to be like when it grows up, with huge open drops. Barry would have hated it.
In general the day was spent on wooded hill/mountainsides in varying degree of heat and on some prey twist roads.  (Our first 95 miles, we averaged 29mph, making it a long day in the saddle.)
Wildlife was at a minimum although we did meet some cows with attitude.  They were not going to let us through.
John was visibly confused when I stopped for the second day running and offered him a lunch stop (he turned it down yesterday !).  The pizza with the Mountain view was well worth the stop.
Tonight's stay is in a walkers hostel for the Camino.  Our bikes are parked up in a field and Valentin the St Bernard will look after them.
