Day 3 - Nature Watch

The riding day commenced with a twin pronged attack, while the soaring eagles attracted your attention, the steely eyed alpine cows prepared their attack. Fortunately their concerted ambush techniques failed.
Nature continued its assault throughout the day, whether it be the donkeys, cows, cats, dogs or sheep on the road.
We were delayed while a flock of sheep and goats were herded up the road. While effective it was noted that a lot of the sheepdogs were being distracted by the sheep bitch.  I would certainly never have been allowed to get away with doing that during my work hours.
Although there were plenty warning signs we never encountered the bears (! - one sign being positioned beside picnic tables) or the elephants 🤔.
As for the riding, the day included everything (except straights) from right twisties to fast sweepers and quick wigglies.  Hardly a mile of which would I object to a second go at.
Today's scenery was extraordinary, the planet must have been very cruel to the region to produce some of the geology.
The day finished on a down note, while going to refill my chain oiler, I discovered that I had omitted to bring the filling tube!  This ranks alongside the failure to bring my visor cloth. (Two down, what will be the third thing ?)
